Hola! My name is Anibal and I have not introduced myself yet since I started working for Spearfishingtoday.com. I am from Cozumel and I have loved fishing since I was young. For many years spearfishing has interested me. As a Cozumeleño, I followed Leo with his little company. We all know that blonde guy with a speargun. I did a lot of spearfishing myself and sometimes met Leo and Rodrigo in the water. I was looking for a new job when Rodrigo said he wanted to go home to his country. Leo and Rodrigo trained me for about 2 months and now I do most of the trips in Cozumel and sometimes I help in Playa del Carmen as well.
We have days with sunshine and with clouds. Days with a flat ocean and waves. Days with lots of fish and just some fish. But it´s always a pleasure to go out spearfishing.
In the last weeks we caught Snapper, Grouper, Triggerfish, Crab, Barracuda, Permit and so much more. I wish you all the best from Cozumel and hope to meet you in the near future!
