SPEARFISHING DRY-FIT POLO SHIRT
Comments Off on Fresh Snapper in Fajardo
Tim here, live from Puerto Rico…. Wanna share a short story with you about a delicious Mutton Snapper we speared this week.
Life supports life. Where there is coral there are fish, where are little fish….there are big fish.
I had seen this Mutton Snapper lurking around but hadn’t had the opportunity to get him. Every other time I had seen him…it was just mano y mano…and he didn’t want anything to do with me.
This time, there where lots of smaller fish in the area. The trick is to get them comfortable with your presence…then…the bigger boys are comfortable to come closer 🙂
I dove down and waited until the smaller fish got used to having me around…then my buddy Mr. Sama came to investigate.
I lined up and got a good stone shot on him and he didn’t move…but….the spear did not go all the way through! I rushed to him and hugged him to the top where I finished him off.
This fish will feed many 🙂
Be on the look out for small fish!
And hope to see you one day in Puerto Rico!
