If you live in Mexico and you love spearfishing, then why don’t you become a member of the Mexican Spearfishing Association? In Quintana Roo, I am the representative and with pleasure I will tell you more about it. It works two ways. Being a member is a win win situation. The government loves us. We regulate the way spearfishing is being done. So that means we stick to the law and we are selective. We think about the future.
One of the things I do is give information to local spear fishermen and women. Some are used to shooting Parrot fish for example. Without a spearfishing permit, you can’t. Others take people out spearfishing and shoot shark. Not allowed either.
As members we will make sure that spearfishing is done in a proper way and can be done for many, many years to come. The more members, the bigger voice to defend our rights if necessary. Besides that, you benefit from great discounts on gear and trips. Email me: email@example.com
