Spearfishing to me is not just a sport, when you are diving 20 meters underwater with no tank, just one deep breath, you experience changes in your body like no other. This is why I love what I do, and want to share this feeling with others.
Going out on the boat to spearfish in beautiful Cancun, looking out at the calm sea, the guns aboard and and the captain calling us over, and we are ready to leave. Either taking out experienced or first time Spearos, the next four hours will be an adventure. There is always a story to tell about spearfishing, may it be a struggle with a Barracuda, the hunt for the crafty Grouper or finding that your fish and your glory, the family at home, friends from school or your work colleagues will not believe what you have just done and seen.
I have seen the men, the women, the young and the old take part and all have their own story. They just come to let go, and see what the breathtaking Caribbean waters that surround us have to offer.
I can’t wait for that one fish that we are all looking for, and will continue the spearfishing and make some amazing friends along the way. This is the beginning of something amazing, this is spearfishing!
