Sometimes bad weather will mess up your plans for going out spearfishing. Even if you check and check, when the day comes, sometimes the reports are incorrect and the spots where you wanted to go are no longer an option.
Maybe the wind is from the east but the waves are from the north and your spot has no cover. Well… in Puerto Rico… we just go to the other side of the island! There are so many islands to choose from down here that we can find protection from the weather in many different spots… no matter what the weather does!
And when I say weather, I really mean wind, because rain is irrelevant. Obviously if there is a downpour we don’t want to be in the water because it is hard to see each other…and hard for others to see us, but in Puerto Rico… weather does not sit… it moves. So, we just wait out rain or fish through it 🙂
In Puerto Rico, there is always a rainbow after the storm 🙂
So when were you planning to come over here?
