I LOVE GROUPER. I love to hunt it. I love to shoot it. And I love to eat it. Yeah Yeah… I love to be in a picture with it as well.
I just shot this one. A super delicious fish I shared with my family and friends.
Hunting Grouper is not easy. It is a super smart fish. You might be lucky and finding one in a cave. Easy. Though when a Grouper is in the open in combination with our visibility (today >150ft) you need to have some skills (and luck hihi) to get a Grouper in a picture.
So today this Grouper made me happy. We speared it in about 40 ft of water. After I shot it, it had the chance to hide in a cave and I had to dive down again to get it out. Fortunately the current was not that strong. When I came down to the cave I pulled out the Grouper and a spear that got pretty bended. But worth it (your own words Leo… hihi).
All the best from Cozumel paradise.
