Spearfishing Holbox
Spearfishing in Holbox is an incredible but challenging experience at diverse pinnacles, reefs, and shipwrecks.
Located at the point where the Atlantic Ocean, Gulf of Mexico, and the Caribbean Sea converge, the turquoise green waters don’t provide as great visibility as at our other spearfishing spots on the Caribbean-side of life.
That doesn’t mean, however, that you won’t have some spectacular fishing; just that it won’t be as easy to hunt in the underwater havens of the Caribbean Sea.
But, if you’ve got the experience and ability, you’ll definitely be glad you went fishing in Holbox.
Plus, the island is a hidden gem of a destination and has less tourism than places like Cancun or Playa del Carmen.
