A beautiful day in May and we went out to find some new spearfishing spot in Playa del Carmen in the 30/50ft area. Many might think it is boring, but is not. At least not for us. We swim in formation and are ready for the unexpected each second.
This day we found a spot with about ten coral heads and an interesting bottom structure in Playa del Carmen. In all those years we had never seen it before, and looking at the fish behavior not many other fishermen had see it either.
Nice size Snappers, Zapateros and Barracudas. Instead of shooting fish, we explored first where the caves were, how are the coral heads positioned, and the current. On the last dive, I decided to lay on the bottom in between the coral heads and shoot us some lunch. VIEW THE FULL STORY
